And it cost me the super by ignoring my 2nd rated horse. I dropped him back to the 3 hole on my ticket. Im not a big fan of the bounce theory but I do know when a horse makes a huge jump in beyer rating for no reason, the next race they almost always regress. He didnt and I was wrong. BUT Rachel was much better than she looked. She galloped a track record sprinter into submission then drew off on a track she hated. Friensen and Pioneer drafted behind RA and got absolutely cooked. MARK THIS DOWN. When a horse closes fast in a race and then runs the next time at a longer distance, the public always jumps on the closer. TRUST ME. If they pair up in the Belmont MTB will be favorite and Rachel will find a kinder pace scenario and draw off like Secretariat. With alot of my money on her nose!
