The "day at the races with Dr Larkin...
Was spectacular to say the least. Nearly one for the record book. In the very first race my second top rated horse nearly wired the field at 35 to 1. This was my first bet for the students and our charity fund for Mission Lexington.
We also could have probably taken down nearly the entire superfecta pool. Second race yielded a another huge tri and super but the highlite for me was the 6th race. I had spent a considerable amount of time teaching about pace and I described how todays 6th race had a very special scenario. a "HEAVY PRESSURE" pace with one deep closer TEND. We loaded the boat and what we saw was textbook. Something an old professor just loves....
Net for Mission Lexington was right at $1690 and my students walked away with a few hundred. That doesnt take into consideration that I lost a ticket that was worth right at $800 and our near miss super was giant!
